Meaningful public participation is essential to creating an ICSP and Sustainable Harrison belongs to everybody who works, lives or plays in Harrison Hot Springs. Whether you are a business, a resident, a visitor or a member of another community, we want to hear from you.
There are several ways you can get involved and stay informed:
1. Community Sustainability Action Team (CSAT)
The QuickStart ICSP Community Sustainability Action Team (CSAT) is the "select committee" for this project, and its members represent the community's interest in the project. CSAT will be responsible for the review of background information and public feedback while preparing the ICSP.
CSAT will provide input to the consulting team (Whistler Centre) and Village Council on public engagement opportunities, assist in the development of the community's vision (including descriptions of success), provide input on current reality and indicators, and develop recommended actions.
The following individuals are CSAT members:
Mayor Ken Becotte, Councillor Dave Harris, Councillor Allan Jackson, Gail Guimont, Robert Reyerse, Ed Stenson, Leo Facio, Donna Cooney, Veronique Asters, Ray Hooper, Barbara Smith, Niek De Brouwer, Andy Strothotte, Bill Dietrich, Andre Isakov (non-voting staff liasion)
