FVRD Woodstove Exchange Program

The Program encourages residents to exchange their old, non-EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) certified wood burning stove or insert for a low emissions appliance, including a new CSA/EPA certified wood stove/insert, or other qualifying appliance. New technology wood burning appliances are proven to burn 1/3 less wood, to reduce emissions by up to 70%, and to significantly reduce the risk of chimney fires. Click here for more information
