Bylaw Enforcement Services
The Village of Harrison Hot Springs’ bylaw enforcement is contracted out on an annual basis. Bylaw Enforcement Officers investigate complaints with impartiality; gather evidence and resolve bylaw issues within the community. All officers will be proactive in responding to complaints and provide education and awareness of all local bylaws. This will ensure a safe and healthy environment for the citizens of the community.
The Bylaw Services Department is responsible for the following issues:
- Business Licences - Licence fees, inspections, enforcement, vendors
- Litter and Solid Waste Control - Littering, garbage complaints
- Signs - Illegal signs, placements, permits
- Streets and Traffic - Traffic control, parking, vehicle obstructions
- Unsightly Premises - Rubbish, graffiti
- Park Regulation and Public Nuisance - Beach control, loitering
- Animal Control - Dog Licences, leashed areas
If you encounter or observe any potential violation and wish to file a complaint, please report these to the Village Office at 604-796-2171. If you wish to report a problem complete Public Complaint Form and email to info@harrisonhotsprings.ca

Bylaw Offence Notice Disputes
Those wishing to dispute Bylaw Offence Notices must do so by completing the dispute/request for adjudication section on the back of the ticket and submit it to the Upper Fraser Valley Bylaw Adjudication Registry, 8550 Young Road, Chilliwack, BC V2P 8A4 within 14 days of issuance.
