Building Tomorrow Together
Come learn about and share your thoughts on the proposed civic campus and partnership between the Village and SD78. This is your opportunity to help shape how shared spaces can best serve our growing community.
What We’ll Be Talking About
Through a participant-guided discussion, we’ll explore:
- Community priorities for parkland and public spaces
- Educational needs and opportunities
- The vision for repurposing the existing school as a civic building
- The values and trade-offs that guide decision-making
How It Works
This event will use a collaborative, open-style format where you can:
- Move between topic tables
- Share ideas, questions, and concerns
- Help identify what matters most to the community
Village staff, partners, and community representatives will be there to support the conversation and ensure all voices are heard.
Why It Matters
Your input will help build a shared understanding of community priorities and inform Council’s decision-making before considering a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). Feedback, thoughts, and ideas shared during this event will be documented, shared directly with Council and the public in a What We Heard Report, and used to help guide future decision-making.
