The Village has a Public Works Supervisor and Utilities Supervisor that oversee the two respective departments. In combination, the departments have seven full time and three part-time seasonal staff members.
The Public Works Department is responsible for the overall operations within the Village of Harrison Hot Springs including municipal buildings, wharves and docks, parks, roads, streets, drainage, sidewalks, pathways, and snow and ice removal on public streets. The Public Works department also maintains parks and trails, horticulture, including tree maintenance and removal, playgrounds, beach grooming and maintenance, fleet vehicles and equipment, street lighting, line painting and overall general maintenance of the Village infrastructure.
The Utilities Department oversees flood protection, water distribution system, water treatment plant, wastewater collection system, and the wastewater treatment plant.
