Council will write to MP Brad Vis in support of the City of Prince George’s petition to amend the Criminal Code, appoint more judges and prosecutors and provide funding and resources for Crown Counsel and correctional centres.

2026-2029 Financial Plan Bylaw No. 1237, 2026 was adopted. This bylaw outlines the municipal budget and guides the services and projects planned for the next five years. Thanks to everyone who provided their input through this year’s budget process!

Highway and Traffic Amendment Bylaw No. 1241, 2026 was adopted. This amendment bylaw reflects updates due to changes to pay parking, among other housekeeping items.

Bylaw Notice Enforcement Amendment Bylaw No. 1242, 2026 was given first three readings. This amendment bylaw provides reduced fines for compliance agreements and replaces the Schedule of Designated Bylaw Contraventions and Penalties due to other recently adopted bylaws.
