On June 23, 2026, emergency crews responded to a significant fire involving several recreational vehicles at a campground located at 670 Hot Springs Road. The incident resulted in the loss of six RVs. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
The Village would like to extend our sincere thanks to the Harrison Hot Springs Fire Department for their swift and professional response. We are also grateful to the Agassiz Fire Department, Popkum Fire Department, BC Wildfire Service, and all supporting agencies whose teamwork and dedication helped ensure a safe and effective response.
We would also like to express our heartfelt sympathies to those who lost their RVs, belongings, and personal possessions in this incident.
