On June 16, 2025, the Lagoon was deemed to not meet Fraser Health standards for swimming or wading, and a notice of closure was implemented.
As of June 19, 2025, after 3 consecutive samples below the required level limits, Fraser Health has determined that the Lagoon meets health standards for recreational water usage, and the swimming advisory has been lifted.
