TAKE NOTICE that pursuant to section 59(2) of the Community Charter, Council intends to adopt a bylaw amending Business Licence and Regulation Bylaw No. 1128, 2018 at the December 15, 2025 Regular Council Meeting.
Proposed Amendments:

Clarify requirements for short-term tourist accommodations

Increase business licence and fire inspection fees
-
Reduce the fee for new applications received after July 1st by 50%
The draft bylaw can be found at the link below or inspected in person at the Village Office, 495 Hot Springs Road, Harrison Hot Springs, during business hours Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon and 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
All persons who believe themselves to be affected by the bylaw may attend the Monday, December 15, 2025 Regular Council Meeting at 5:30pm, Memorial Hall, 290 Esplanade Avenue and make representations to Council or submit a written submission to:
