NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under section 467 of the Local Government Act that the Village of Harrison Hot Springs Council is prohibited from holding a public hearing pursuant to section 464(3) for “Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 1230, 2025”.
PURPOSE OF THE BYLAW: Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 1230, 2025 brings Zoning Bylaw No. 1115, 2017 into alignment with recent changes to Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 1184, 2022 by:

Adding definitions for Employee Housing, Housing Cooperatives, Non-Market Housing and Supportive Housing

Permitting these types of housing in all zones except the East Sector; and
-
Incorporating parking and development regulations for such housing
LANDS SUBJECT TO THE BYLAW: The bylaw impacts all land within the Village of Harrison Hot Springs, except the East Sector
DATE OF FIRST READING: First reading is intended to be given at the Regular Council Meeting on Monday, November 17, 2025, 5:30 p.m. at Memorial Hall, 290 Esplanade Avenue, Harrison Hot Springs
The Bylaw is also available for inspection at the Village Office, 495 Hot Springs Road, Harrison Hot Springs, BC Monday to Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., and 1:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
