NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under section 467 of the Local Government Act that the Village of Harrison Hot Springs Council is prohibited from holding a public hearing pursuant to section 464(3) for “Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 1230, 2025”.

PURPOSE OF THE BYLAW: Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 1230, 2025 (revised) brings Zoning Bylaw No. 1115, 2017 into alignment with recent changes to Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 1184, 2022 by:

  1. Adding definitions for Employee Housing, Housing Cooperatives, Non-Market Housing and Supportive Housing

  2. Permitting these types of housing in residential and commercial zones; and

  3. Incorporating parking and development regulations for such housing

LANDS SUBJECT TO THE BYLAW: The bylaw impacts all lands in residential and commercial zones within the Village of Harrison Hot Springs.

DATE OF FIRST READING: First reading is intended to be given at the Regular Council Meeting on Monday, December 15, 2025, 5:30 p.m. at Memorial Hall, 290 Esplanade Avenue, Harrison Hot Springs
