The 2026 General Local Election is approaching, and prospective candidates are invited to attend a Candidate Information Session to learn more about serving on Village Council and the election process.

This session is designed to provide prospective candidates with a clear understanding of:
• The roles and responsibilities of Mayor and Council
• The local election process
• Key timelines and nomination requirements
• Resources for further learning

The session will also provide you with the opportunity to ask any questions you might have for election staff. 

Unable to attend in person? The session will be live streamed via Zoom, and recorded and shared on the Village's YouTube channel.
