
- Council heard delegations from Bridal Veil Mountain Resort regarding a proposed project for an all-season mountain resort located in the Fraser Valley Regional District/Chilliwack area, and from John Allen regarding the proposed Council Procedure Bylaw No. 1216.
- The Village will send a letter to Premier Eby and the Minister of Arts, Tourism, Culture and Sport in support of continued provincial funding to support fairs and festivals in BC.
- Council released resolutions passed at the Special Closed Council meeting held on February 25, 2025, including the appointment of four new committee members to the Age-Friendly Committee, two new members to the Advisory Planning Commission, and the awarding of the Boat Launch Operations bid to Harrison Eco Tours.
- Disposal of Surplus Items and Equipment Policy 1.11 was amended to allow for a sealed bidding process as opposed to a live auction.
- Staff will be bringing forward recommended changes to various policies and fees associated with Special Events in the Village and the rental of Memorial Hall. These fees have not been updated since 2014.

- Council Procedure Bylaw No. 1216, 2025 was given third reading and staff were asked to research more information on the timing of Committee meetings, delegation topics and Reports of Councillors in the order of business. View the public information package on the proposed changes here.
- A bylaw to amend the current Waste Collection was given first three readings, with a Council amendment to require bins to be out by no earlier than 10 p.m. on the night before waste collection day. Other changes include updates to the annual collection fees, and minor wording updates.
- Development Procedures Bylaw No. 1214 was given first three readings. Changes include clarified language, a timeframe for submitting a reapplication, and a new requirement for applicants to post signage of their proposed project on their lot.
- A new Advisory Planning Commission Bylaw was adopted.
- New Business: Council directed staff to develop an Anti-Racism/Anti-Discrimination Policy, which will provide a framework for reporting and responding to discrimination and racism within the Village of Harrison Hot Springs.
